Abstract

Dezvoltarea nanostiintei si nanotehnologiei a cunoscut in ultimii ani progrese importante, unul din motoarele propulsante fiind reprezentat de materialele nanocompozite de tip metal-polimer. Proprietatile fizice ale sistemului metalic sunt puternic afectate de efectele cuantice de dimensiune, putand prezenta, la nivelul clusterilor nanometrici, cromatism datorat absorbtiei plasmonice, foto si termoluminiscenta, feromagnetism sau superparamagnetism, activitate catalitica intensa, samd. proiectul de fata propune dezvoltarea unor metode de sinteza in plasma a nanocompozitelor metal-polimer, prin utilizarea de tehnici combinate de tipul plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition/physical vapor deposition (PECVD/PVD), metode care conduc la nanomateriale cu proprietati predeterminate. Cercetarile tintesc obtinerea si caracterizarea de nanocompozite metal-polimer cu frecventa de rezonanta plasmonica de suprafata controlata si, de asemenea, de nanocompozite cu proprietati antimicrobiene si/sau de biocompatibilitate. Controlul procesului combinat de sinteza se realizeaza prin identificarea si monitorarea speciilor care sustin sinteza, specii generate in timpul functionarii secventiale sau simultane a surselor de plasma. echipa propusa prin prezentul proiect, din cadrul Institutului National de Fizica Laserilor, Plasmei si Radiatiei, este formata dintr-un cercetator tanar, dar cu experienta si recunoastere internationala, precum si din cercetatori tineri doctoranzi, care urmeaza a-si finaliza lucrarile de doctorat pe parcursul implementarii proiectului.

 

Obiective specifice

In contextul international prezentat, si al particularitatilor legate de utilizarea sistemului combinat de surse de plasma, proiectul de fata isi propune atingerea urmatoarelor obiective specifice:

  1. Obtinerea prin tehnici combinate cu plasma de tip PECVD/PVD de nanocompozite metal-polimer pentru aplicatii in optica, bazate pe controlul frecventei de rezonanta plasmonica;
  2. Obtinerea prin tehnici combinate cu plasma de tip PECVD/PVD de nanocompozite metal-polimer cu proprietati antimicrobiene si/sau de biocompatibilitate;
  3. Determinarea si monitorarea speciilor atomice, ionice si moleculare generate in plasma in sistem combinat PECVD/PVD responsabile de controlul sintezei nanostructurilor de tip metal-polimer.

Planul de lucru. Obiective si activitati (stiintifice si complementare)

Etapa I. Configurarea sistemului experimental combinat de polimerizare in plasma si pulverizare magnetron (PECVD/PVD) pentru depunerea compozitelor metal-polimer si experimentari preliminare privind obtinerea de nanoparticule metalice.
Termen: Decembrie 2010
Valoare etapa I: 92.200,00 lei
Etapa II. Investigarea speciilor din plasma de polimerizare (PECVD) si de pulverizare magnetron (PVD); Sinteza prin depunere secventiala PECVD/PVD a nanocompozitelor metal - polimer cu frecventa de rezonanta plasmonica de suprafata controlata pentru diferite metale.
Termen: Decembrie 2011
Valoare etapa II: 275.000,00 lei
Etapa III. Sinteza prin depunere simultana PECVD/PVD a nanocompozitelor metal - polimer cu frecventa de rezonanta plasmonica de suprafata controlata; Studiul interactiei intre speciile generate de sursa PECVD si sursa PVD la functionarea simultana a acestora; Sinteza prin depunere secventiala sau simultana in sistem hibrid PECVD/PVD a nanocompozitelor metal – polimer cu proprietati antimicrobiene si/sau de biocompatibilitate.

Valoare etapa III: 297.800,00 lei
Etapa IV. Concluzii privind parametrii experimentali care controleaza proprietatile optice si respectiv de biointeractie a materialelor nanocompozite metal-polimer si experimentari finale.
